The Karaganda region is participating in the Kazakhstan International Tourism Exhibition (KITF) in Almaty, the largest professional tourism platform in Central Asia and the premier event for the country's travel industry, which features over a thousand tourism companies from 30 countries. Our region is represented by the Entrepreneurship Department, the Karkaralinsk National Park, the "R-TOUR" travel agency, the "Balkhash" health and recreation complex, the "Nomads Club" domestic tourism agency, the "Orman" guest house, and the "Visit Qaraganda" Tourist Information Center. The exhibition showcases the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Karaganda region, drawing visitors' attention to the unique opportunities and diverse vacation destinations available. Popular spots for both domestic and international travelers include the Karkaralinsk National Park, known for its mountain-forest oasis and suitability for active tourism, and the unique Lake Balkhash, which is among the top 20 tourist destinations in Kazakhstan and caters to both water sports enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxing getaway; roadmaps have been developed to enhance the infrastructure for these locations. KITF serves as a unique opportunity for signing memoranda and agreements, as well as fostering interregional and cross-border cooperation between countries. The exhibition includes plenary sessions, roadshows, seminars, presentations, and other industry events, all of which demonstrate the event's effectiveness for the tourism market in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Participation in this exhibition has been a pivotal moment for the Karaganda region in ensuring information support for the local tourism industry and establishing new connections and partnerships. The second day of the KITF exhibition was equally eventful, with significant interest shown in the Karaganda region by both exhibition visitors and business partners. One of the key events of Thursday was the signing of memoranda with other regions to foster further cooperation.
